Not a big fan of jokes then?

Easy, the cyclists. Since they're basically in the same path and have no vehicular protection, they're going to be crushed by the logs anyway.

pretty Sure the 'x' is also lowercase

Flying cars are just 2 years away, but with the caveat that they aren't always 2 years away.

I nominate the Ford Flex. HEAR ME OUT! Nobody wants another middle segment crossover thing. The market is completely crowded and nobody who cares about cars really cares about these things. Heck, I didn't. But then I drove the AWD Eco-boost version. Excellent car. Super happy about getting it. It somehow slots

Volvo says they got the car fatality thing set to be done by 2020, so I think we're all on track to live forever...barring some skydiving accident or something.

I really hope the production vehicle looks almost exactly like this. The back end and doors aren't as practical as they need to be as far as the openings go, but otherwise, this looks like some overcooked "future" car from 20 years ago. In other words, between the i3, i8, Ford GT, and this, cars are starting to look

Watching eight-year-old boys play the game you lot insist on calling soccer is a peculiar pastime. As a spectator you are vaguely aware that the humanlings are governed by some sort of laws and rules, but it is hard to decipher what those are. Furthermore, despite each child being regularly reminded that they have a

Can I opt into extra snarkiness? If it's going to be ragging on or complimenting my driving, I'd prefer it do it tongue in cheek.

No. If the storm doesn't have a name, the tops going down.

Jag seems to be pulling a better racing line, but this is the movies...where's the drift?!

I'd like to have seen them allow exporting some sort of 3d mesh with texture mapping that you could open up in a myriad of software (photosynth, 3ds max, Blender, etc.).

That's not at all how it works. There are thousands of tiny lenses, but they all have the same focus. The entire light field is reconstructed from the image. The sensor's fidelity plays a big role in the output image, but there isn't any reason that future research in the field (pun intended) couldn't yield a

How did this conversation go?

I plug my phone directly into the amp.

Reminds me a lot of every time I get on I-35.

Or is it? After all, you only need to win it when you're ready to retire...so, you know, as long as you're still in your twenties, you haven't been properly embittered by slogging it out in the workforce.

I think it would help a lot if people had to go to a foundations of racing class. Having tried my hand at hustling my car around a track then sitting shotgun while one of the instructors showed me how sad my abilities are, I can definitively say that I am not cut out for professional driving.

As a newly minted Flex owner, I'm continually amazed at how much I enjoy this car. It's pretty much the ideal large city hauler.

Inexpensive exotic looking car. Give me a car that looks as bonkers as a P1, costs $30k ish and make sure it's got enough space to handle an SBC, LS, Coyote, or some other reasonable crate engine. Sure, I get that it'll weigh at least twice as much and probably come stock with 150 ponies and 150 twist, but I can at
