I totally appreciate that and I’m glad you brought it up. Good discussion to have. From my perspective, having had abortions (should have learned, now have), I feel pressured to be all agonized over it — this threat of potentially overwhelming guilt is used by “crisis centers” to dissuade girls and women from making

Yeah, I’m so glad I didn’t have to deal with waiting periods, forced ultrasounds, or protesters. I was losing my mind enough as it was.

But please check with clinics before arranging counter protests! The ones in my area find that escalates things for patients, and would prefer they be held elsewhere to draw protestors away from people who are just trying to get their damn health care.

Gun nuts can legally shoot and kill a person for stepping on their property, but a woman can’t abort a parasite invading her body and threatening to destroy her health and/or economic stability.

Admittedly, when they wrote about Kelsey Grammers wife, I immediately thought: “Lillith?”

Or worse...

In general, the members of the Satanic Temple are not satanists and do not worship lucifer. They're mostly Athiests who are trying to make a point about Christianity bleeding into government.

Alex, “I’ll take mentally ill losers who blame women for everything” for a $500

A) sample size far too small to draw any population ethnicity conclusions.

It’s almost as if different women have different experiences with it or something! I’m glad she’s talking about it. I’m glad you’re talking about it. I hate that menopause is a “taboo” subject for women to just fucking talk about!

It effects everyone differently, much like PMS. I love menopause, too, and it came early for me. No periods, no risk of pregnancy (even though my tubes were tied I was the person that still worried), etc.

Every day I wake up, have coffee, then get down on my knees and thank The Noodle that I don’t have to date in the age of Tinder.

She only wants love if it’s torture. Don’t say I didn’t, say I didn’t warn you.

You realize that Portland is at just as much danger of being destroyed by a Big One as is L.A., right? (SF and Seattle are even worse off.)

WE ARE SUPER SOUL TWINS! Yes to allllll of this! The no-makeup, because who has time and I never learned how anyway. The hair, because I hate having it in my face but I like having long hair, the swimsuit body, the whole thing! I have a bikini body because I put a bikini on it. My fellow Jersey Shore beachgoers don’t

AGREED, although my IDGAF takes a slightly different form than yours. I actually present “feminine” — make up, high heels, long hair, but I do not give a fuck if other people like it or not. I do it because I feel like it.* Oh, people don’t wear heels to baseball games? Oh, I’m overdressed for a backyard bbq? Oh,

I’m 31 and in the last year or so, it really hit home that no, despite what society tells us, my self worth as a human is not tied to whether or not my appearance gives dudes boners at any given time.

I just recently got to the “I don’t give a fuck” level about showing my pale fat body. It’s so freeing to be able to go the beach and not even be bothered by what people are thinking. I went with my sister recently and she refused to walk down the beach without her cover-up on, and it was so weird to think that would
