Honestly, the setting combined with the promise of a Mica Levi score is all it took to make me want to watch it: her score was the scariest part of Under the Skin in my opinion.

Two characters vehemently do try to “nope out” and, well, it doesn’t work.

No, she’s saying money is the reason she took the job. Not that she couldn’t relate because she had tons of it.

I’m really, really curious to hear the opinions of both an adult who’s never seen the original and a child who’s never seen the original. I just can’t imagine that this movie works without both facial expressions and prior knowledge of the og’s sense of fun and theatricality. Such a weird concept right from the get-go.

It’s so beautiful! What right do these muppeteers have to make such great music? “There’s not a word yet / for old friends who’ve just met”

God it’s just so good. Even this one picture is hilarious.

Doug Jones is always a delight, but usually for ooky-spooky reasons. This time he's a delight simply for being so delightful. I'm bummed he's gone so soon!

Excellent news! I can’t wait to see Steve Martin’s young pale gams on the big screen.

Agreed!

Agreed!

Very much looking forward to watching this!
