If you’ve played the game you’d know about the guardian beasts which are giant machines based on animals. There’s also the multi-legged machine in the video clip shown that shoots freaking lasers.

I’m glad a mechanical horse type motorcycle is all it takes to break your immersion on a game that has giant mechanical guardian beasts alongside Links do all magitechnology tablet.
Nice to see that you can jump it off a cliff. Most horses would freak out.
Speaking of weird insecurities, here you are angrily questioning the masculinity of a stranger because he wants to play a game on easy mode.
He didn’t claim to be “bullied”. That’s your own overwrought interpretation of a not particularly angst-ridden article.
Oh my god that mini-map rant was ridiculous and terrible.
No, he saw a game with an issue about how it approaches difficulty, and then used that as a prompt to address how bad difficulty sliders/choices are as a whole. Some people don’t want games to be super hard and Wolfenstein 2 is just contributing to the bad implication that people who like easy games are losers.
Holy crud! A “Great Job Internet” in which the Internet has actually done a great job!
No joke. The only two moons I lack are the 100 jump rope and volleyball challenges.
That folding screen effect was so cool! The whole aesthetic for that world is amazing.
This game is magical, in that same level the 2D moon for wearing the samurai outfit made me grin so much, I love all those details that the game has, like the throwback to Donkey Kong at the city party, etc. I’m really loving this game!
But that’s exactly it. The portable thing. What’s hard to understand about that? Being able to play wherever, and then if you want, put it in your dock and play on your tv when you’re home. Not hard to comprehend why some people would prefer the Switch for that reason. That’s a major advantage. Not everyone cares…
Portable is a huge benefit yea.
Personally, I play it on my lunch breaks. I get an hour for lunch and rather than sit around for 45min once I’m done eating, I can chill out and play games for a bit.
That’s extra game time I didn’t have before.
The other thing I can thing of would be the joycons(objectively I know)…
Yeah, for me at least it’s absolutely the portability and flexibility; not just the ability to take it places, but to use it while something else is on the screen, or just because handheld gaming is more comfortable. Far as I’m concerned, the versions lacking portability are the infertile versions — graphics are nice…
It’s not just this game, I want EVERYTHING on Switch because it is so awesome.
I’m not surprised. Luigi has always been the more attractive brother.
Classic ‘Old man yells at cloud’ situation going on in here I see.
Good thing this is “Kotaku” and not “Things That Tekton Cares About”.
I have a feeling you didn’t read the article, because Joshua was defending the innocuous shit that OTHER people found offensive.
They’re like people who cheat at board games. There’s nothing substantial to even be gained from it. They’re simply doing it to piss people off and ruining something they say they care about.
They’re like Trump supporters.
