The funny story about Cruz’s career in Texas is, he’s never been elected in a completely neutral, shenanigans-free election. I’m not 100% sure he’s proven to be electable in Texas in the way most people would define it— It’s maybe still a question mark.

You make a lot of good points, but you’re forgetting one thing: everybody hates Ted Cruz. Even people totally aligned with him politically can’t stand him.

Cruz’s play last night sets him up very well to make a strong 2020 run. That sucks for the rest of us.

I think the authors on The Slot are generally understood to be capable of superhuman feats. Also, I wonder if you could just powder the pennies, maybe mix them with something to render them inactive, and use them as a seasoning.

The move solidifies terrible Cruz as the only Republican candidate with a backbone. Sure, that backbone is totally deformed, but it’s there, which is refreshing to see considering the GOP is populated mostly with fluid-filled invertebrates.

But people in the party are so pissed at Cruz that he may have also ruined his chance for 2020. That’s what I hope, at any rate.

The fact that Trump gave Ted Cruz a chance to address the convention is just more evidence that his campaign is completely incompetent. I mean, he went after the guy’s wife and father and mocked him relentlessly at the end of the campaign; how could Trump have thought that Cruz’s speech would be supportive?

I’m kind of happy that rapists and other evil doers are recording their deeds or discussing them on social media; it makes it easier to convict them. Cats are so much better than people, let’s face it.

I’m a criminal defense attorney and sometimes the reason is just that if the state isn’t offering anything, then you make them prove it beyond a reasonable doubt.

I disagree. I think more assholes should share their crimes on social media so we can convict them and get them off the streets.

On the one hand, I am never against more cats for any reason. On the other hand, definitely do keep sharing your crimes on social media, as it makes it marginally easier to catch and convict said crimes. I’m mostly here for that cat puking rainbows though. So cute.

But, what would you think the outcome would be? Why would it be advantageous to go that route rather than to plead guilty like the other guy involved did?
