+1 to communication between developers and consumers

This is actually kind of a neat situation, both in terms of Atlus being pretty fun and candid and showcasing a bit of the behind the scenes stuff with localization.

Don’t forget they cut the optical port out of the Slim....that is mind boggling to me.

Maybe I have a skewed view, but everything I’ve read involving this man makes it sound like he must be exhausting to deal with.

This is largely why I stick to here for gaming news. Life’s too short for dealing that sort of mindset.

And yeah I’ve almost totally disconnected from the gaming community barring a handful of really awesome people in my real life, and a few of my subs on YT.

This isn’t an impulse purchase. If you were at all inclined to buy this game, you’ll have set aside the money for it already.

Been playing FF 14 for long enough to know they will deliver,

Niantic has been terrible at communicating with its players. Maybe literally taking money out of their pocket will send a message that they can’t ignore.

I don’t know if I’m the only one, but I definitely am still very into the game even with the issues. Sure, it crashes a bunch and is very buggy, but I’m getting to the point where
a) these issues are lessening, to a degree, and
b) I kinda expect them, and I know it will only improve.

The 2009 Ghostbusters game isn’t perfect, but damn if it isn’t fun. I think of it (and obviously I’m not the only one who does) as Ghostbusters 3, and I still play it every now and then because bustin’ makes me feel good. It’s a great time. And the multiplayer was pretty awesome, too.

He would’ve fucking loved it. Pokemon Go is like Ninty’s Magum Opus, the amount of people having fun gaming and meeting new friends...that’s practically Nintendo’s motto.

You should take your own advice. It’s pretty common to tell someone they look grumpy in a picture when they actually do. Regardless of gender. So maybe cool it with the hyper sensitivity.

Please note: Some form of electricity is also required to play these games, but Microsoft conveniently leaves that part out.

Gawker itself I’d say has a gay ol’ time with the clickbait. Kotaku? ehhh I can’t say I’ve ever felt that happen.

While Capcom did royally fuck up the Mega Man series, Inafune was also directly responsible for choking off some game series and ranting about how Japanese developers were inferior, while pushing for more outside western dev teams who, while very talented aesthetically, had very little grasp on deep gameplay.

I tell you what made the Kickstarter.

Whoever runs that is a fucking genius. Its like they have some spare edge from the 90s they forgot to use.

I despise Gawker’s tabloid-esque shock reporting, and they’ve on several occasions took things too far. But everything else under the Gawker banner makes for good reading.

Thanks to everyone who keeps reading and supporting Kotaku. We love you all.

The gameplay in Other M was the most offensive part of it...
