I mean, it’s up on Polygon already. And to be fair, I’d consider it bigger news than yet another NFT scam.

xQc? He has one of the most toxic communities in the game. And given that it’s GTA, that’s saying something.
Like, it’s really hard to have any sympathy here....
This. I love Rise on the Switch, but it’s a different beast on PC. LS is insanely satisfying at 60fps and above.
Yeah, it really depends on the type of game. I was seeing the same type of talk with Monster Hunter Rise and quite frankly, that game benefits greatly from an increased framerate.
That’s what I’m thinking. I mean it’s different enough that it could be a spinoff game. So if by some miracle it doesn’t do well then they will probably go back to the same old same old.
It deviates wildly from the mainline formula so there’s always a chance that it won’t meet expectations.
If this sells like crazy then I imagine they might use this format going forward
This. Honestly it seems kinda....I dunno...desperate? Like “We want to talk about this game, but we didn’t get a review copy. So instead we’ll tell you about the other sites and what they’re saying, which will bring even more attention to the fact that we didn’t get a copy but whatever.”
I think you hit in on the head. Gen 2 is my favorite Gen to this day and I always found it hard to explain why. But this is it. Gold/Silver were ambitious and it improved immensely on the formula. It felt like a natural progression instead of a gimmicky one.
Just send out Magmar (knowing full well he’s gonna win), tell him to use Flamethrower and just start walking across the bridge. You’ll hear the battle play out behind you and by the time you’ve crossed the bridge, Magmar’s jumping back into his Pokeball and the UI in the corner is letting you know how much EXP…
I remember first playing the game around 2002 with the absolutely excellent GBA games. I played it on and off until around 2010 so coming back to it is slightly jarring. But it’s still fun as hell and I’m kinda shocked it took Konami this long to make a MTG:A type game.
I mean...Red vs Blue comes to mind
A better option would probably be to just toss a few to everyone who logs in during the week.
r/pokemon comes to mind. You have some subreddits that aren’t too bad. The monster hunter sub is pretty chill and believe it or not, the subs for consoles are pretty well behaved.
This. Like CoD makes a massive amount of money with every release. They would be absolutely stupid to restrict that to one playerbase.
I mean, Call of Duty makes a shit ton of money every year so it literally would be pretty stupid of them to make it completely exclusive.
In this case she’s not in the wrong tho. She’s being defended because Ninja’s being a fucking dick. Doesn’t excuse what she’s done in the past.
I’m sure you’ve heard of the thing with him and New Years Eve a few years back, right? Said behavior was in full display there.
Thirty years ago, if I would have told you that Microsoft and Sony would end up making video games, you’d probably have laughed at me. Back then it was really only Sega and Nintendo. Then Sony came along. Then Microsoft came along and Sega actually dropped out.
I don’t see any of the Three dropping out at this point…
No. It actually hasn’t sucked by any stretch of the imagination. Would each of those things that Disney bought survived without them? Maybe. But to say that it’s sucked as a whole overall because it’s a big company is just being really fucking dramatic for drama’s sake.
