I’ve never understood why Sony and Nintendo are just so anti-consumer friendly, and seem to just make everything more difficult than it needs to be.

Eric is....ugh.
A Condom saying “Coming Soon”? Come on, that writes itself!
This is a local newscast on a Fox affiate. Not “Fox News”. They’re two different things.
It honestly makes me miss Mixer. I know it didn’t set the world on fire, but I liked it. And more options is always a good thing.
Far Cry is pretty much like Madden. It’s not yearly, but they seem to just swap out the country, swap out the villain, increase the number on the box and call it a day.
Because quite frankly, it doesn’t make any sense. It’s a mod of an old game that requires the actual physical disc to play. If anything, that would drive sales as people try to acquire a copy. Plus it’s offline.
I mean....most of the time the physical copy is just freaking cheaper. DMC5 special edition is $40 digitally and I got a physical copy from Wal-Mart for $30. So there’s one big reason there.
Ironically enough, one could say that GTAV ended up with a more humorous spin because of Saints Row. Regardless, GTA still isn’t as over the top as that trailer.
I don’t know how you could look at that trailer and go “This looks like GTA”
If I want a game with super powers, I’ll play Avengers. If I want to play a GOOD game with super powers, I’ll play Spider-Man. I don’t need super powers in Saints Row
It also tries to say that Saints Row was the last bastion of silly games when No More Heroes 3 came out THIS VERY WEEK.
Trevor was basically a Saints Row character in GTA, now that I think about it. And no spoilers, but he ends up kinda being the type of guy that you’re glad has your back....if only because it means he’s on your side and you’re spared from his brand of crazy......maybe.
Honestly, if you ask me, they missed a huge opportunity when it came to Boss being President. Like imagine if it had a political slant and you had to whip certain groups back in line because they’re gunning for you.
I mean...narratively, blowing up the earth kinda limits your options otherwise.
To be fair, your opinion is basically “It sucks that Saints Row isn’t over the top anymore.”, after a reveal trailer that was, to be frank, over the top.
This. SR2, IMO, was pretty goofy and yet it could be gritty and dark. It still had an identity.
This. Like once you have super powers in 4, you didn’t even bother with the cars. They were just...there. It went from a gang warfare game to an early superhero game. And quite frankly, if I want to play a good superhero game, I’ll go fire up Spider-Man
Yeah, didn’t No More Heroes 3 JUST release and it’s as insane and crazy as ever?
On one hand, I liked that 3 and 4 went so over the top and did their own thing.
