Falling Off

Maybe if people even knew season 2 was out, it would have performed better. Marketing must have dropped the ball because this is the first I’ve heard it was a thing. I just thought it was in limbo. Even so, they waited too long between seasons. The show lost its momentum, and shows like that are easy to forget.

The first season was good. The second season, not so much. I will miss all the Crows actors but that’s about it.

I wasn’t too invested in S&B, hadn’teven watched the second season yet. And the others mentioned have been languishing unwatched in my queue since they came out, except for the Elvis one, which I never added at all. So no big loss for me. I'm still a bit salty about Inside Job getting canceled a while back, though.

That's been true since there were three broadcast networks and no cable.

That’s a shame. They set up some interesting ideas for season 3. But that’s what happens with any TV that isn’t a runaway hit.

Bummer - Shadow and Bone was fun and had shockingly good set and costume design for what certainly felt like a made-for-TV YA adaptation. Any word on the Crows spinoff that was planned?

I was coming here to drop the actual quote, but Dubya’s version is so much pithier.

People still give loads of money to Donald goddamn Trump, this guy is a fuckin noob compared to the Great Orange Grifter.

If the dude's this desperate to go back to prison, he could just steal a car.

...Who is the person who would pay for this? Like I want a documentary about them and all the choices they made during their life.

She had a shoe collection that was worth more than the median household income in like half the states in the country... she was never an “everywoman”

In And Just Like That..., however, Carrie has fully relocated from everywoman relatability to that world of absurd affluence.

Thank you for articulating so well what I’ve been feeling about the series. I know that it seems to be popular to watch rich women doing things (see:the “Real Housewives of...” franchise), I don’t enjoy it. I wonder if the writers were influenced by the popularity of that franchise and misread what SITC  fans would

Am I the only one that thinks Carrie was always this way? Despite all of the “life lessons” that OG Carrie turned into episodic musings for her column, her behavior was one of someone who pursued the trappings of wealth and luxury, and eschewed any meaningful relationships in favor of the rich guy to whom she was

“Does this Cheerio look like Cousin Greg? An A.V. Club Investigation.”

Reservation Dogs is so good, really it is sort of an honor for it to be snubbed by the Emmys, putting it in the same category as The Wire, an all time great show that the awards shows are too mediocre to appreciate

My stance is I don’t really care what the Academy does, and we should just ignore it.

“...despite putting Netflix on the map”

This sucks. It does seems like the actors who were most screwed over here were the ones who were listed as recurring & not in the main cast, though the cast was so big that was most of them
