His disorders play a part in shaping his views, but he is still responsible for having them. As widely discussed recently, antisemites use backlash against extreme views as confirmation that those views as justified. His narcissism makes it difficult to accept ever being wrong, so he likes people things like Trump

He’s very much a “useful idiot” at this point.

It was very telling all the stuff Fox cut. Because they cut all of the stuff you mentioned, and all the stuff Kanye talked about he faces as a black man. They let him talk about White Lives Matter, the Clintons, liberal elites, etc but the moment he was like yea and people were racist to me and treat me different cuz

How is it Kanye isn’t under a conservatorship?

Rich people rarely get committed.

He needs to be shelved himself. Stop giving him a voice and just ignore him.

He was on meds and recently (I think within the last year or two) openly stated he would no longer be held down by his meds. He doesn’t want help. Someone managed to convince him that his mental issues are a good thing.

Not until someone gets hurt, unfortunately.

Ye Olde Kanye?

I miss the old Kanye from the ‘I Miss The Old Kanye’ days

When is someone going to commit this dumb fucker

Olivia Wilde was nothing but gracious when Booksmart underperformed despite great reviews, hype and lots of talk about a female teen comedy needing to succeed. Wilde simply said she was happy that the people who did see it liked it and hoped it would build a following, which did.

Yeah but this is setting a new bar. “You’re bad human beings!!”

in addition to my crippling fear of homosexuals,

Right that is a VERY fucked up thing to say.  And blaming straight people is also really dumb. This a movie 100% aimed at the LGBTQ crowd, and the rom com crowd, so why are you blaming straight people for not seeing a movie not aimed at them.  That’s like blaming a horror movie not doing well because people who don’t

There was potentially an option to do a more positive campaign around helping/promoting the community. For example, I’m no romcom person myself but I made sure to see Crazy Rich Asians opening weekend because I’m Asian and knew it was the first major studio picture with a majority Asian cast in over 20 years.

Ding. Like, I wasn’t going to see the movie anyway (in addition to my crippling fear of homosexuals, I also just don’t go to romantic comedies in general), but there was a joke in the trailers that basically explicitly said THIS MOVIE ISN’T FOR YOU, GO WATCH SOMETHING ELSE. And I know that the people who make the

I’m not sure it’s ever a good idea for someone to speculate about why their movie has underperformed at the box office.  It’s always going to come off as resentful and defensive.

Shocking that the ‘if you don’t see my movie you’re a homophobic bigot who voted for Trump’ ad campaign isn’t working

There’s a demographic somewhere between active homophobe and not particularly interested in romantic comedy (regardless of the gender identity and / or sexual orientation of the characters who will be having sex with eachother by the end of the film).
