I think it will go a little something like this:
Dexter commits murder
Dexter (VO): “I’ve done it again, murdered this person”
Ghost dad: “Dexter! You just murdered that person!”
Ghost John Lithgow: “Uh oh, Dexter, looks like you’re back at it again with the murdering!”
Ghost Deb: “Well that’s just fucking great, Dex, you

There are also plenty of rural areas near where I live that feature Dollar General as the only place within 15+ miles to buy produce and other grocery items.

Right, it’s not ideal (is any big business ideal?), but dollar stores have saved my ass many a time when money was particularly tight.

I go there for gift wrapping paper and related.  Always check the feet per roll, but you can get some bargains.

The nearest grocery store takes as much as $1 in gas for me to drive there and back. I can walk to the Dollar General at the end of the block. It sometimes makes more sense in every respect to walk there and get something I need before the next trip to the grocery store.

No, not really. It’s exactly the same. Just scaled down rather than scaled up.

Dollar stores are targeting demographics who [.....] don’t make enough to have much choice in where and when they buy their household necessities.

Why do all these types of articles equate low income as low intelligence. People are smart enough to know they’re getting smaller sizes and maying more per ounce, pound, inch, etc.

So the scam is that they’re generating a positive gross margin? And I think everybody, even less educated folks, knows that you generally get a better deal if you buy a bigger-volume product. If lower-income people are unable to afford larger-volume products, that’s not really these stores’ faults, more the nature of c

Majority of those mountains and trees are in Alaska where he was stationed.

I think you meant to say “GOOGLE IT, MAGGOT!”

The most surprising thing I’ve read about Bob Ross was that he used to be a drill sergeant in the Air Force (google it.)

This is such sad news, she’s the grandma I always wish I had, someone who could cut you with just a word and a smile! She seemed like a deeply fun person to be around. RIP dear Olympia.

In a movie filled with tremendous performances from a cast of absolute ringers, hers stood out the most.

“If you can’t say anything nice about anybody...come sit by me.”

Her Steel Magnolias character reminded me of my grandmother.

True, but in retrospect it was surprising how good Nicholas Cage’s was. He could have become a good dramatic actor if he had wanted that rather than the zany performances in (usually) dreck.

This one hurts. I know it wasn’t unexpected given her age, but I’ve really loved her in everything I have ever seen her in. I also think that I’ve used “Don’t shit where you eat” a few times a year ever since I first watched Moonstruck decades ago. I know it’s an old saying, but I’ll never not hear her voice whenever

Watched Cloudburst not too long ago, where she plays one half of a loving, bickering and hilarious couple together with Brenda Fricker - seen it a few times now. She was as awesome there as she has been in so many movies and series.
