Forget "Painter in my Pocket." "Looter's Follies" wins Rubies, narrowly edging out "Your Blood" and "Watercolours." Although fine, "Painter" is pretty great.

New album is good, yes. Kaputt was a fantastic surprise when it came out. (I read into the Grief Point lyrics that he was going to quit after Trouble in Dreams, and was proven wonderfully wrong by Kaputt a year later.) But really, Your Blues is the best thing the man has done. And he's done a lot of great things.
