It's also my father's name and it isn't his birthday either.

He's one of our claims to fame, along with a guy who died pretty early in Lost and a guy that tried to turn an appearance on either The Real World or Road Rules into a stand-up career.

I think so. I don't recall if it was for the Australian or some other major.

I don't know if I've mentioned it on here before, but John Stirratt, the bassist, grew up in my hometown and was tutored by my mother in math (I think it was math).

Much tennis.

Everything but his eyebrows.

I've never heard of choux pastry before. Maque choux is usually corn, bell pepper, celery, onion, tomatoes, and spices that is sauteed in either bacon/tasso grease or butter sometimes with a creamy sauce or meat.

Douchebags of the world unite! You have nothing to lose but your birthdays!

"Radio Cure"
"Poor Places"
"California Stars"
might be the top 3. Yankee Hotel Foxtrot used to be my go-to when I was feeling hungover and terrible. For whatever reason, I haven't listened to their other albums much - and haven't even heard a few of them - despite really liking them. I relistened to Star Wars a month

"The Ballad of High Noon" as sung by The Sons of the Pioneers (I can't find the right version online).

Alex Morgan.

Neiman Marcus cake. It's really easy and I used to bake it as a kid.

Roosevelt's mustache, Mt. Rushmore.

I used to like the giraffes at the Global Wildlife Center. It's sort of a big nature preserve with big open buses that take you around. The giraffes would eat out of the cup of corn they gave you.

Ticket to Ride. It's pretty easy to get people to play it and not too complicated. I mostly like boardgames for being with other people, not the games themselves.

I played soccer starting at age 4 and up through high school and it was my favorite. I liked shooting baskets but not too much playing basketball ditto throwing American footballs back and forth (usually with 3 people: thrower, receiver, and one defender).

I try not to keep track of that sort of thing, but maybe driving them long distances. I also (maybe) saved one of my friend's life when I suggested he light a gas trail instead of the gas-soaked tree when we burnt a palm in his backyard.

Hmm. That's tough. A few Angel characters get disqualified because I haven't seen them enough yet or they don't get enough to do (e.g. Fred and Gunn). Here goes:

Civ V complete is pretty accessible and probably comes pretty cheap on sales now that VI is out. Crusader Kings 2 while harder to learn has sort of RPG or The Sims-like hooks that might make it more compelling ultimately to the non-strategy gamer. Also getting older and having slower reactions helped push me away

Crawfish étoufée, corn maque choux, and some red beans and rice with, maybe, a small square of seasoned (not sweet) cornbread. Bread pudding with whiskey sauce and coffee with chicory for desert. Cocktail would be a Ramos gin fizz or old fashioned. The portions would have to be really small for me to eat all that,
