Having finished reading The Wars of the Roses, I turned to The Anatomy of Melancholy in earnest. I enjoy litanies - the Catalogue of Ships is one of my favorite parts of The Iliad for instance - but that may not sustain me over a 1,000+ pages. I'm really enjoying it so far, but it may become exhausting at some point.
