I'll pick a somewhat local one. In Acadiana there's a sort of werewolf creature of French origins called, variously, rougarou, loup garou, rougaroux, etc. He goes around attacking people and cattle, mutilating little old ladies, hanging out at Trader Vic's, etc. If someone sees the rougarou and survives, he can't

WNPR said something about a job (and complained about disqus). Narwhal said he liked Bags by Patrick McHale. Stingo said something about Hateful Eight. Wallflower linked to this about 2001. Joyce Carol Oates lamented Spielberg killing a triceratops. etc.

Seems fixed now. For some reason it was showing a bunch of comments from June 9, 2015, a week after the review was posted and probably about the time we first moved here.

Disqus is only showing me comments from a year ago.

What's your favorite monster/malevolent fairy/cryptid/mythological being/etc?

Oh I also watched S2E9 and half of E10 of Penny Dreadful. Eva Green may be the only person who could pull off a scene of yelling gibberish at a ventriloquist dummy version of herself.

I thought about watching that (and possibly other Swanberg stuff at some point). I think I remember you talking about him before. You're a fan aren't you?

It's a joke I've been pining to make.

No need to spruce it up.

Ain't that just the way.

Does it explode?

It's a rock fact!

I didn't! And I haven't read the books. But I like Frodo and I've heard good things about Douglas Adams, so maybe I will watch it at some point and then I'll have a reason to respond to your comment.

Other Space is maybe the only thing I've seen him in. He was smarmy and unlikable, but he was supposed to be.

*inappropriate Alison Brie joke*

If you can laugh and pray in 90 minutes, that's money well spent.

And it turned out to actually be a pretty good episode.

It's a Wonderful Life Buffy Episode!
