No, I don’t think it’s racist to be more motivated to support someone from your marginalized group when no one else looks out for you. And again, the GOP from the local level to the Supreme Court has been doggedly making it harder for black voters to vote for the last eight years, and we don’t know enough to know how

“Yeah Trump may be an ill-tempered, stupid, spoiled man-child with less than zero idea what the fuck he’s doing, but do you know that Obama is black”

Yes, because we actually understand the ramifications of legislative term limits.

He won’t need to sue the FBI because he gets to choose who is in charge of it.

And also, if you reduce the amount of time legislators have to form relationships and understanding with each other (as well as have them fundraising for half of their time in office), they only become more dependent on outside money. As my friend said, there aren’t term limits on lobbyists, so this wouldn’t do

He was inexperienced in holding federal office. He was a Constitutional law professor, a state senator, and then a US Senator. Trump has literally never done anything even in the field. I don’t want some rich asswipe doing brain surgery on me over a neurosurgeon who’s only been doing this five years either.

And which of these spineless weenies will impeach him? They’re not going to dare to upset his following, and quite frankly, their team won anyway. They now get everything they want.

It’s cute that you think I’m the dumb one here, but try to keep up: Republicans don’t defend Israel because they give a shit about Jewish people. Republicans defend Israel because a) they think Jews holding that land will usher in the apocalypse and bring Jesus back and b) they want a pro-western stronghold in the

Really? THIS was the dumbest comment you’ve read? You didn’t refute or even disagree with anything I said, but congrats on your new account.

Couple things:

Trump won this election on the backs of white nationalists but sure, the Rust Belt would have elected him our first Jewish president.

I don’t think Biden would have been a better president than Hillary, but seeing this outcome makes me think he’s the only Democrat who could have pulled white voters (esp men) away from Trump.

Yeah, well, more people disliked Trump, so clearly that wasn’t the only issue at play.

They felt left behind in this world because their voices are no longer the only ones that matter. And honestly, I have no interest in making them feel better at the expense of black, latino, Muslim, and women voters.

Sure, fine. But factory farms have driven families farms out of business. Machines have taken over the factory jobs that haven’t gone overseas. Entire towns have been devastated because coal left. These things don’t have quick solutions.

I think your analysis is correct, but the fact is that those rural communities are predominantly under Republican control. And beyond that, Democrats and Republicans alike are unable to bring back factories, or small farms, or a million other industries that have gone overseas or become automated. So while I agree

Yeah, within the DEMOCRATIC Party, not the general electorate! Jesus Christ with this.

Interesting that this article lays no blame at his feet despite the fact that he dragged his feet for MONTHS after losing decisively.

“Dorian Corey’s children” killed me. Incredible.

In her defense, it’s a very famous line she’s been using for twenty years, originally in the context of the need for successful women to cultivate women as successors rather than pulling up the ladder behind them.
