I'd argue Poetry is more popular now than 20/30 years ago. People have access to poetry now. Patricia Lockwood, the current wunderkind, was discovered en masse when Rape Joke went viral. A poem, went viral. That's astounding, and something I would never would have predicted.

Darnielle was originally a prose poet, and he was published widely. He won several awards in his younger days and most of his pre-1995 work was originally a poem. He actually learnt to play the guitar to get people to buy his poetry, because he decided it was the only way for his poetry to hit the widest audience.

Yes, I'm sorry. Everything Right is Wrong Again is a song on TMBG's debut album. Everything You Know is Wrong is Weird Al's TMBG parody.

Fair enough, just seemed a convenient place to ask someone.

Oh then definitely, Mason & Dixon is my big recommendation. To me it's his masterpiece (and I'm one of those sacrilegious bitches who didn't like Gravity's Rainbow). I'd say it and Infinite Jest completely finished off Post-Modern literature by being so perfect.

I was considering getting one to read magazines on, is it worth it just for that? or should I just get the iPad I was going to get and ignore KindleFire entirely?

Fire really that bad?

ORGASM HUNTERS
new on Discovery, starts right after Bigfoot Files, 9/8 central.

I thought the picture was Mike from RedLetterMedia at first glance and was confused as to why Plinkett was shilling for the Russians.

I warn you that it's definitely a book lovers book - it concerns someone telling the story of Mason & Dixon to a family and elaborating upon his tale demanding on who is the room. When the girls are around he crafts a tale of romance, when the boys enter he adds in battles and fighting, for the older men he throws in

If you want to be blown away by Pynchon, read Mason & Dixon. It's one of the best novels in the English language, which isn't something I throw around lightly.

and cryptids. Mustn't forget the industry standard "jersey devil" test.

Hey! That's not fair!
He's also a racist.

This is the trouble. People who love them, really love them, and the people who can't stand them *really can't stand them*. My old room mates feel the same way as you.

The two guys from TMBG are friends with him, and both camps frequently reference one another. Weird Al's "Everything Right is Wrong Again" from (I think?) Bad Hair Day is a TMBG style parody.

I'm not sure what makes me hate him more. The fact he stole that Asshole bit from Louis CK or the fact he stole Bill Hicks entire act..

You have never, ever, in the history of the genre outnumbered women.

Pharoah's impression is technically better agreed, but both lacked soul. I don't know what happened to SNL impressions in the last few years but they seemed to forget about character and just went for "this people sound good". Did they forget that some of the best SNL impressions sounded nothing like the person in

According to John Mulaney and LIVE FROM NEW YORK: An oral history of SNL, most writers ask constantly to perform material on the show. It's significant that after being accused of hiring only white women, after having one of his stars complain in public about the lack of people of color on his show, he gives that

I was referring to the hashtag more than using it, hence why it's bracketted. I thought Leslie Jones started strong and went downhill. The material needed more work if I'm being brutally honest, it didn't seem like her a-game (and I looked her up after I liked the start so much). I feel like Lorne is still on the
