How I adore this woman.
How I adore this woman.
As a girl named Audrey who has a lisp, I support this dream. I thought it was a role I was made for in my younger days!
I’m guessing that Clay was inspired by the “Mammy Dearest” episode of “A Different World”. But yeeesh!
In high school, I read “The Temple of My Familiar” for the first time and fell head over heels in love with it. Especially Shug’s Beatitudes. I transcribed them and kept copy in my wallet for many, many years. Thank you for inspiring me to do that again!
Oh, Babs... You’re still so Brooklyn! I heart her!
This sista is a MST-ie! I even went to a reunion panel years ago at Columbia University!
I actually guffawed reading this post. Never knew that was actually a thing! 😂😂😂
“I have learned to never mess with anyone racially or do anything to that stupid extent, or do anything bad. I should just stick to school and be a good kid,” the teen added.
In the words of The Fugees, “Yo, some nappy heads need to check their necks for red.”.
I was first called the n-word when I was in 6th grade. I live in Brooklyn, btw. And the person who said it? He was a Puerto-Rican boy I had a crush on.
Better yet... CAROB cookies!!
I lived in Corning for a half a year and that is a sadly accurate way to describe a lot of Upstate NY...
I need the DVD, too!! In the meantime, your munchkins will love this best of playlist!!
No lie I was obsessed with them, too!! I remember having the California Raisin Christmas ornaments and would make them sing “Rudolph”!! LOL
Which I cannot hear without looking this one up on YouTube!! LOL
Respectfully I also submit The Temptations version of “Silent Night”.... It’s not Christmas until I hear it!!!
I love how she sent that portrait of her breasts to the man following the death of his wife. Why send a casserole? LOL
