This comment is an excellent example of saying a lot without saying anything at all

so basically you are alright watching all sorts of people of all ages play all sorts of violent games, killing killing killing, and thats OK, but a pretty girl wears a bikini and suddenly thats taboo? wtf is wrong with you?

I come from California. In California we have coyotes, rattlesnakes, and conejo valley rabbits. In California we do not have zebras, sloths, howler monkeys, or crocodiles.

We do understand why they’re upset, which is exactly why we’re making fun of them. 

I haven’t read all that much about it, but everything I have read leads me to believe that anyone complaining about the current Pokémon releases are, in fact, being entitled and whiney.  It’s the sort of complaining that seems to merit condescension.

It’s a dumb take.  Watching them isn’t mandatory and you can just assume that if you aren’t interested in them any more then they aren’t being made for you anymore.  They’re being made for the next round/generation of people.

That is certianly an interestingly navel gazey sort of self imposed hell you’re caught up in. Seems rough. 

I broke my own rule of arguing from a position of ignorance—and to make matters worse, I commented on this story when it first broke.

I clearly need to reevaluate my commenting reflex, as the video has changed my position significantly.
