I wonder how it compares with the gesture control setup that VW had in their Golf R concept at last year’s CES?
Yeah, it’s something that Audi included in their new TT (which started arriving stateside earlier this year) and I believe it’s also in the new R8.
Hateful, hateful, hateful.
Gear ratios?
Except for the very limited edition Olympic / Sprint Blue Audi allroads.
Nope, blue.
Thanks! She’s been mine for five years to the day. :)
Totes agree... but of course, I’m biased :)
On the road, yes but not in the US. Audi produced and sold 333 copies.
Native of Portland as well and this made me want to punch my monitor. I mean, I’ve seen other car-related ads show off Portland in some form or another (one of the Mazda 3 adverts for instance)... but usually without hipsters or something related to hipsterdom.
Because hipster thing has to reference or include a shot of Portland...
I wasn’t saying that it wasn’t clear (in fact, it’s probably the most clear when compared against BMW and Lexus), just that they haven’t gone off the deep end.
In general, I do agree with you there. That said, those lines are kind of being blurred with some of the M Sport and S-Line packages that only add appearance bits and bobs, but no suspension or other “performance” tweaks.
You mean like:
BMW: M3, M235i, 335i M Sport, X6 M
Ding, ding, ding! http://www.thesamba.com/vw/forum/viewt…
So excited!
Hmm... the layout reminds me of selector layout of the R8 with R-Tronic or S-Tronic
I think you can say that the first Boxster Spyder had 'em as well.
I don't hate the 3 GT, as it doesn't look awkward, disjointed and bloated as the 5 GT. That said, while the 3 Series Touring is sold in the US, there is no way in Hades would I choose a 3 GT over a 3 Series Touring.
