It's not feminism; it's John McCain. We have John frickin McCain to thank. So thank you, John frickin McCain. Thank you so much.

Haha, "points deducted for being Canadian." At least she actually has a witty sense of humor unlike many of her male counterparts.

It pretty much strikes me as *anti*-feminist to simply defend all women at all times, just because they are women. Aren't we fighting for egalitarianism? Let's just call an idiot an idiot - and a dangerous one at that.

For decades my father has talked about the "leggy blonde" that walks into a room, or always begins a description of a woman in a story as, "Attractive woman. She went ahead and..." to both my sister (27), me (29), my mother (his ex-wife) (56), and his wife (46.) I include the age ranges because now he does it in front

It just goes to show you should never take anything you hear on the news at face value. I am ashamed of myself for judging this woman and the prosecution prematurely.

She was actually voted Miss Congeniality. HAH

Why on earth would you feel sorry for anyone who actually answered this ad?

@Apollinarius: If 63% of Gen Y'ers make sex tapes, there probably won't be very many woman judges in twenty years...

Welcome to L.A., Kate.

Of my God, Hortense; you are too effing funny! What a joy to get pleasure from something that would normally piss me off. Thanks much!

@deleahrium: Can we please stop calling her a politician?

@BytheSea: I'm glad that I'm not the only one who thought it sounded kind of cute and fun compared to the whole baby shower thing with games and other assorted bullshit. I mean, you don't have to invite the neighbors. I was really excited to find out that my best friend is having a boy, too. It also seems like a nice

Please protect my child's right to be a fucking asshole.

Of course they got rid of the redhead. Assholes. I loved my Felicity doll and now my younger sisters do!

@BlackSheepRedShoes: OMFG. You poor, poor people. I have migraines two to four times a month depending on my stress level, and that is considered "chronic." I don't think I could physically handle more. You two are my new heroines. Good god, man.

@The_same_SZ: True. Definitely. But statistically they would also be safer with a stranger woman than a stranger man. My point is that when it comes to making a choice about my potential child's safety, social egalitarianism won't matter to me at all. It's that simple.

Unfortunately, the reality of the matter is that 75% of sexual abusers are men. This is a really large discrepancy between genders. While I certainly feel it is unfair for men to have the stigma they clearly do, I have to admit, as someone who plans on having children, I would be much more likely to leave my child

@Sunflowercat: It is *seriously* uncommon to have migraines this frequently. I know that with your insurance situation, it might be difficult to get some good help, but it seems like you might want to have a thorough checkup, because this could be the symptoms and indications of something much worse. Poor thing.
