@jianna: When I wear a ponytail when my hair is dirty, it looks... not good. Plus my ears stick out a little, so the pigtails are a much more flattering. I think if you wear them low, behind your ears, it gives it a little less child-like appearance. Not like Brittnay from Daria!!!
I am not making light of this, and I am not making fun of her. However, I am convinced Danielle has borderline personality disorder.
@Triphena: Jill Zarin says that all the fat after a tummy tuck ends up in your butt and arms. Fact.
@dkissam: cute!
I keep waiting for the backlash against these people.
Good luck making it to the 22nd century, Catholicism!
@BabyJane: self-obsessed
@BabyJane: I used to like Jill, in a guilty kind of way. But she is just terrible.
I have always hated writing thank-yous, but always have. After getting married to my French husband last summer, we split the notes - mine in English, his in French. Even if you feel awkward writing the note, believe me, no one will feel awkward receiving it.
I get two shopping buzzes with it - one when I purchase it, another when it arrives. And I don't care if its unhealthy!!!
I was a complete tomboy as a child and hated anything and everything that was pink. I have since become much more in touch with my "feminine side" and now love it. Maybe not having it pushed down my throat as a young girl made me appreciate it for the lovely color it truly is now - without the social connotations.…
This post seems to be highlighting something that is a growing problem in America. However, I would like to point out that the post and opinion of the Times Well blog seem to be only from the perspective of the cut-off parent.
I pay $40 a month for the ring because BC/BS (on my plan at least) only pays for the Pill. They do, obviously, pay for Viagra. Options? Yeah. And I am on the ring because my pills were doing exactly what this article talks about... killing my sex drive. Not so great for the newly married who don't want kids right…
@bethikus001: Thanks for the tip, lol!
The "Frenchie Spectators" are totally a 1950's knock-off of Chanel. Fabulous!
The brand of the pirate earrings, Coro, are still worth quite a bit for vintage collectors and are pretty difficult to find.
@merekat: You sound like an awesome, level-headed person who will no doubt be able achieve your goals. Good luck, sweetie; I'm sure you'll be a great mom!
If larger women are over-sexualized, then women with small breasts are thought of as pre-pubescent teen boys, asexual. It's not just larger women who have trouble fitting into the "norm" of what our society thinks is "appropriate." Victoria's Secret only carries size "A" bras in their most utilitarian styles.…
Admittedly, I was totally disgusted by Kourtney Kardashian pulling her baby out of herself... at least it was a real depiction of childbirth, though.
