I’d rather have the Z51 package but either is going to be an amazing bargain.  I’d be curious how much it hurts the top speed.

I love both.  Too bad the Viper didn’t sell enough to be kept around.  The Viper offered a unique vehicle and great track performance.  Not the best car to live with as a daily though and watch your legs on the way out!  I think the Viper needs to come back but sadly it’s price point didn’t do it any favors on the

As an “old” Supra fan, I welcome all the C8 stories as long as I learn something new, like this one.  New Supra articles, well meh.

That’s cruel. You are a bad, bad man for doing that. j/k

I don’t see the point in a Jaguar or Land Rover that are really BMW’s underneath. How will they be different, other than in looks? Why wouldn’t you just get the BMW instead.   Maybe it’s time for these brands to just close the doors for good.

Send A Corvette to finish it off.  Fire in the hole!

That shtick has gotten old.  I might watch a video on a car I really like but I’ve stopped watching him.  He’s just boring.

The F40 and his “holy trinity” video are two of my favorites from Chris Harris.

I see two problems and one easy solution

The picture you linked is even better of your car.   I love the old NSX, and that blue is great.

Your ‘00 NSX is gorgeous in that blue.  I love the integrated headlights myself more than the pop-ups of the earlier years.  I agree the C8 makes the new NSX a hard sell with that $100k+ difference.

Part of me thinks that graphic for the C8 isn’t truly representative of what the car would look like in that color. I think the graphics on that page are a bit off / not great. Either way, not really a fan of yellow, but the NSX (both of them) pull it off.

I think the price is the biggest reason and the fact it’s a more complicated car (Hybrid AWD vs. V6 RWD of the old car). So some see it as not an NSX. I love it, I think it’s a great car and would rather have it over a GT-R. The price it is in has some other “flashier” competition to some people.

OK since we want to call BS, it isn’t. You didn’t do the drive I have more than a dozen times in my Toyota and in my now former Subaru. Google right now says it will take 16 hours and 47 minutes and there is traffic in some spots right now. So I over-estimated the time I was driving. If you plan ahead and have a goal

5 minute fill-ups are not misleading at all. I said fill up the car and nothing else. Nothing about food, which I could sit in the restaurant or take it to go and is a variable I left out. It doesn’t change charge time and range. This is why I think something like a Hydrogen electric car is more viable the charging up

I have no problems with the concept of electric cars, but they tend to have one or more issues.

I’ve watched them all for either free or a redbox blu-ray for $2. Dumb popcorn fun abd something to give my subwoofer in the home theater a nice little wakeup. I just wonder if a spinoff like Hobbs & Shaw is worth watching.

There was a good looking car under that ugly body kit.

Yeah I never understood the want to go to these ugly grills on Wranglers, this is just a desperate cry for help.  Could be worse...

That’s very impressive. I am looking forward to seeing the battle between the C8 Corvette (with and without Z51 Package) and the Shelby GT 500 on Car & Driver’s lightning lap. This should be a good fight.
