I enjoyed LeBlanc & Harris. Reid was OK, likeable guy but he just never seemed “Top Gear” material for me. His reviews were just “meh” for me. Rory doing Extra Gear seems like pointless filler, they could can it and I would be happier. Sabine was fun to watch, Eddie was mostly annoying. The two new “screamers” here

I “wood” not know if it is factory but I doubt it since the fake wood extended to the air vents on the sides. Limited trims might have had some plastic fantastic fake wood possibly but I am not sure in ‘97. My 2005 Legacy GT Limited had fake wood that went from the sides of the radio down to the shifter as well as a

Supra owners in the states are eager to see how this might affect us. THey for instance could do alot of JDM car parts that might not fit inside a LHD Supra like in the US or Euope, etc. JDM interior bits like the dash, etc. would be useless to a USA car due to RHD vs. LHD. Also no gurantee that they will export parts

It’s the European MKIV Supra hood scoop. It is functional. In the US version you would have to do a little modification of the hood to make it functional. Assuming you do that it will provide some cooling air to a scoop on the passenger side of the engine. That scoop is there to cool cylinders 3 and 4, the two right

I didn’t think it would take long before someone noticed that the “baby sitter” not the father has homicidal tendencies. Keep him away from crowds.

The Suzuki Verona was FWD with an inline 6 as well as the Volvo V60 Polestar.  I think a few other Volvo’s might have has it also.  But it is a rare but not impossible configuration.

Same in Austin and Houston.  Good luck finding an HOA-less area if you want a new house.  Heck too many not so new houses have HOA’s also here.  If you don’t want a super-long commute there are not many choices.

I lived in Katy (just outside of Houston) and hated my HOA. They forced lawn maintenance on the front of the house. The good part was everyone’s lawn was cut EVERY WEEK so it was trimmed. But for the price they charged I could have hired a company to do the front and rear of my house. Everything behind the fence was

Up The Irons! with that tired quote.

That is just a beautiful thing to see moving again on it’s own power.  I would love to see it in person.  I would have to bring my dad, he would just go nuts seeing this thing.

I agree my dad has owned a ‘86 Toyota Van, ‘91 Corolla. My brother a ‘12 Lexus IS 250. I own a ‘97 Supra Turbo, ‘13 Lexus IS 350 and lease a ‘18 Lexus IS 350 F-Sport. Why did I buy them? Because they are Toyota designed and built cars. The new Supra is not Toyota designed and built. This more than anything

The “shame” is that Toyota with it’s #1 sales status and all of the money it has at it’s command, engineering resources, etc. said it was too cost prohibitive and would have taken too much time to design. Yet little old Mazda who in terms of size is a nothing compared to Toyota apparently has the time and money to do

If they put the Inline 6 in a RWD car I would be excited by it. New Mazda cars look good and a RWD platform would make this more desirable than the new Zupra to me.

I do realize that and that it also isn’t his daily driver and probably gets to drive all sorts of cars from Toyota. That mileage still seems super low for 26 years of “love”. I don’t daily drive my Supra and it is 4 years newer and yet it has over 11 times the mileage. Even with my worst years I barely drove the Supra

The car has super low miles, looks like perfect B.A.T. fodder. For a car that is supposedly so “loved” it has so few miles on it. In 26 years 8,400 is all it has? I have a ‘97 Supra Turbo with almost 94k miles on it as of today. It had 19k when I bought it 17 years ago. I put more miles on it when I lived in Chicago

As a Supra owner I laughed so hard.  Good eye!  I’ll go nerd out on that one.

1996 was the only year the Supra was automatic only. That happened because of the change from OBD I to OBD II. They couldn’t get it certified for emissions at the time. The manual was back for it’s final two years here in ‘97-’98.

I have a ‘97 Turbo with an automatic. I’ve had it for 16 years. It was one of the rare good autos that didn’t kill the performance back in the 90's. 0.2-0.3 slower at the most to any metric you can think of. With the auto it stayed on boost so usually when the manual guy was shifting you gained on him. I’ve done a

They look so happy together. I made my choice already. I bought a ‘97 Supra Turbo in Alpine Silver in 2002. It’s the better of the two cars, legendary motor and impressive reliability, I love the 300ZX Turbo though. To me it’s the last great Z car. Never warmed up to the 350Z or 370Z. My only complaint in Z32's is

You have mentioned something I think is more of a problem with modern cars. Cars of today tend to have lots of sharp lines / angles and they seem to work best with color. If you go to a black painted car the details tend to blur or just disappear. Older more “curvy” cars seem to handle black alot better. It’s not just
