Uh yeah...no. As someone whose dad died. If my husband got me a hologram of him I’d be like “What the fuck is wrong with you?” It’s not even a video of a real memory!

Someone should tag in Lizzo to do a collab.

No, for many years I ran corporate events. Still a lot of fuckwit stories though.

Ugggghhh.

With some history of the Disney corporate environment, I don’t think this was about the ticket necessarily, but about Disney’s rigidity. That company is a fucking nightmare to work for (truly evil) and, as mentioned, that was probably the straw that broke the back of a camel that was already getting physical therapy

Below please find my response to a commenter over at TheRoot who co-signed up with the exec that implied she has enough cashish to purchase her own passes.

That show was so good!

One of my favorite episodes of the criminally underrated show You’re The Worst involves the question of which was the better Genesis: Peter Gabriel or Phil Collins, and how that choice tells you a lot about a person. I’m Team Phil.

What’s missing from this article is that they’ve been divorced for 12 years. They divorced in 2008, reunited for the sake of the kids in 2015/2016 and were living together in his house but not married. Given that the house was purchased by him when they weren’t married, there’s no reason she should have a right to it.

This! Cobra Kai is even more infuriating re: contact fighting. As a lapsed karate practitioner, that’s not how reputable tournaments are run. They’d NEVER get insurance, for one thing. Also, concussions are now a thing, and with all the head trauma, on of those kids definitely had one.

The rules in the contest never made any sense. Bobby, one of the Cobra Kai goons, gets disqualified for kicking Daniel’s knee. But during the big fight montage (“You’re the best!”) there are about a half dozen brutal kicks to the face. Dutch lands a wicked kick to Daniel’s face which to which he just rubs his eyes and

Former child star Alex Winter made a film about child stars that’s on HBO called Showbiz Kids. Reading that the Sprouses were pushed into acting by a mother with drug problems makes that doc even more noteworthy and worth a viewing. Yes, the media gave them a pass, but can you imagine what their lives were like? I

Really? It’s better than the first one? The first one was my go to movie during my kid’s birthday sleepovers. Margaritas and nachos and Magic Mike for me while my husband rode herd on 8 preteen boys.

Magic Mike XXL is much better than the first one, because it just goes all in on the fan service. The first movie was kinda drug down by the aspiring auteur approach to the struggles of the stripping/welding man.  We get it, it sucks to have deferred dreams.   XXL just goes all in on the joy.

This movie is way better than it had any right to be lol.  It’s delightful.

I think it’s the second one with Andy McDowell where they get boozy with expensive wine and engage in the most earnest performance of “Hard to Believe We’re in Heaven.” It’s cheesy as all hell but lord if Matt Bomer doesn’t sell that shit like puppies and hot chocolate. The PERFORMANCES are fun, but get a little

Shouldn’t we be on Mindy’s team here for standing for the privacy of her children, and her right to have a baby or 11 in whatever manner she wants without the public thinking its their right to know the details, whether that be with whom/where/when/how? I recognize that there is a bit of this in the article, but the

Does anybody else feel like Cobra Kai Zabka is a much better actor than CK Macchio?  Of course he gets the more interesting character to play, which helps.

Same. I figured it was just a nostalgia trip, but before I realized what had happened I had binged both seasons.

I liked this show more than I thought I would. Your review explains a lot about why. Men acting ridiculously with women as the voice of reason, I find, as I grow older, to be less of a trope and more of a reality.
