In our house the biggest problem is that its mom saying "its time to work on xyz." If a teacher tells them that they'll do it but with mom we whine and complain and it takes 3 times longer.

I don’t understand the need to play the “who has it worse” game. Can’t we just acknowledge that its a shitty time for a lot of people for reasons that are sometimes similar and sometimes different?   

I also don’t think that anyone is “on their A game” any more. It’s gone on too long for that.

Considering what is going on with bees worldwide, I don’t mind if someone rich person has chosen to raise them? Farm them? Be the bees’ landlord?

That second letter reeeally sounds like the guy is trying to hop into another LTR, and the woman is not. Communication is a good thing, but it also helps if one party can take a hint. 

It seems important to point out that Dan didn’t say not to tell your kids you’re dating. He said not to introduce them to new partners until it seems like a fairly sure thing. Your kids don’t need to meet every person you date.
