I have been struggling to reconcile appreciating and applauding Lizzo for her body positivity and not forcing her to be the “fat girl” pop star/spokeswoman. This article pinpoints my discomfort. I want to celebrate her, but not make her body her defining characteristic.

I am somewhat ashamed to admit that I first saw Showgirls on basic cable and didn’t realize until more than half way through that the “bras” in many scenes were CGI!!  They did a commendable job making it nudity free.
