It isn’t even just death, since flying is fairly safe. But if flying makes people so anxious and stressed, what do they think it does to their animals who don’t understand what is going on? I can’t imagine putting an animal on a plane and putting them through that except in the rarest of emergencies.

My thoughts exactly! Birds (and most animals) just go when they need to where ever they are standing. Even a trained dog might poo or pee if it gets nervous on a flight.

Birds don’t have bladders, so none have bowel control (it’s theorized that early birds lost their bladders to make their bodies lighter and thus be better at flying).
