As I responded to MossyStump, I must have really lapsed when that news came out. In my mind, the worst thing a rep can tell their community would have been that.
Damn, I guess I did miss that. "Deal with it" was just the worse possible thing I could think of that a rep can say to the community. For that to happen....
I'm a bit confused. Yoshida is the head of the company so I would sort of think what he says is what the company says.
Better than just telling the userbase to "deal with it" I suppose. At least they're making an effort to look like they care.

I was afraid that it was one of those jump scare gifs. Consider me relieved, I was staring at it for way too long...
No mention of the soundtrack? It was brilliantly executed; psychedelic and flashy, and it could not have fit better.
I've got to say, it was some of the best darn cgi I have ever seen.
Certain scenes are augmented perhaps with CG elements, but it's not bad by any means. It really makes the supernatural elements feel more alien, and the effect makes for some awesome sequences.
I doubt there's such a thing as Nintendo Security Agency, the cause for this move was probably disgruntled parents complaining.
