I have both and can’t stand Google’s which I purchased first. Saying “Okay Google” is tedious, and it also wakes my tablet, my phone, and my girlfriend’s phone.

Going to disagree about automation too. Alexa has the upper hand. Google nagged me to unlink and relink my devices for weeks and I hand been able to relink them yet. Probably user error but what a hassle.

I bought a Google Home early on. But couldn’t stand the hotword and have since bought several Amazon devices instead. I sure hope this pans out. Next they need a more natural voice.

First and foremost having to say oh-kay-goo-gull is a deal killer after 2 beers. Second if you want “nice bass” just hook an Echo Dot to your sweet ass sound system.
