BREAKING NEWS: 60 MINUTES EXEC OUT!
Plus I’d love an investigation into why Moonvest was allowed to participate on the Commission on Eliminating Sexual Harassment and Advancing Equality.
I was just reading Dixie Carter’s Wikipedia article and was quite surprised to read this:
CBS doesn’t stream any of its stuff outside of its own service for the most part.
“His mantra, I was told, was, “Why would I wanna cast ’em if I don’t wanna fuck ’em?”
Ronan Farrow’s article discusses the misogyny behind the scenes at 60 Minutes.
these guys act all clueless when pushed to diversify the people hired behind the scenes, like sexism is always out of their sight. when they walk through the door, the sexist ghoul leaves. the ghoul only making itself known to vulnerable women and these “nice guys” just dont see it. fuck that.
Do not get on a writer’s bad side. They know all the best words and how to put them together.
Also, now on top of my rage about Moonves getting away with abusing women for decades, I am also angry that he denied the world a TV show created by Linda Bloodworth Thomason and starring Huey Lewis. MONSTER.
The Good Wife. That's the only one. It's the careful stir in I watched.
In addition to legal defense funding from Times Up, I’d love to see projects from sidelined women, especially this one, financed as well. I would have watched the shit out of Fully Clothed Non-Dancing Women!
All of this does explain why CBS’s line up sucked so badly for the last 20 years. I watched a couple seasons of CSI, but other than that, I cannot think of a single show that I have watched on that network since the turn of the century.
“I hope it doesn’t [get out] because I’ll be looked at as the blame for it and I’ll fucking get sued,” Barris says.
Eh, his hair doesn’t bother me (though it is obviously fake) when he doesn’t look like he’s been to the Guy Fieri house of Hair style-wise.
And the networks wonder why all the talent is fleeing to Netflix, Hulu, Amazon and Apple.
Norm Macdonald recently gave a lengthy interview to the Hollywood Reporter in which he said that “there are very few people that have gone through” what Louis C.K. and Roseanne Barr have gone through, “losing everything in a day.”
The biggest own here is that Norm went out of his way to defend Fallon in that dumb interview lol
I’ve noticed that Kristen Stewart has seemed to manage to stay fairly gracious about the Twilight experience when she gets asked about it. Like she hasn’t denied there were problematic aspects or tried to suggest they’re cinematic masterpieces or that Bella Swan is a role model and icon for our generation, but she…
Twilight was poorly written garbage with many deeply disturbing messages, but you did do the movies, dude.
