I think the bigger complaint about DA2 wasn't so much lack of content as it was lack of unique designs, as most dungeons and buildings used the same map (and often the same textures). If each dungeon had a unique map and, say, each house had its own blueprint (instead of just turned or with locked doors) then the…
I agree with this, especially the "play as the mage" bullet. Outside of dragons or similarly large beasts I found melee combat a combination of annoying and boring. Working as a mage (I haven't tried an archer) I focused on range and it also provided an excellent vantage of the field—something I couldn't otherwise…
I was talking with some friends about this same thing last night. Between my recent playthroughs of DA:I, Shadow of Mordor, and even Forza Horizon 2, it feels like open-world games are becoming almost formulaic in practice, only deviating in core gameplay mechanics and story. So, while I enjoy my time with each of the…
"Grand Theft Auto V, Dragon Age: Inquisition, Far Cry 4 — they're all very nice, but have you considered not killing people with virtual Japanese pop idols?"
She only shows up for that scene if you have The Exiled Prince DLC. She shows up again in The Mark of the Assassin DLC, too.
There's notes hidden throughout the chapters that point to the fact that Kirkwall was actually architected to weaken the Veil, so it would be easier for mages to become abominations. Really, the best thing would be to move to Starkhaven or something and nuke Kirkwall from orbit.
I recently finished my DA:O and DA2 replays with DA:I in mind and was surprised that I didn't dislike DA2 as much as I remembered (cut and paste environments aside). The characters are all well-written and the key thing to keep in mind is that there really is no main plot. It's more a plot kick-off for potentially a…
I hope one of the first T-shirts out for DA:I is the "'I will bring myself sexual pleasure later, while thinking about this with great respect" shirt.
Now you'll just need to find a mod that plays Disco Inferno when a dragon shows up, too.
That's how I usually determine it.
ME1 did have reused environments, but one could rationalize (outside of maybe the mining facilities) that prefabricated stations/buildings would be common in space. In a medieval fantasy environment, though, prefabrication becomes jarring much more quickly.

I'm glad I'm not the only one! The trick is keeping my players from playing with their minifigs when they should be playing the game.
Ugh, reactionary dodging in an MMO... is dodging as dicey/poor as it is in The Secret World?
Exactly what waffles said. There's a lot of planning for the future with the math involved, there's also various tokens and unlocks used in the game. Personally, I don't know that I'd recommend Siege of Columbiana to those uninitiated with the more complex board games because it can be a bit overwhelming. Frankly, if…
