@samuelwalker: todopaper looks a lot like taskpaper for mac which is sweet & simple and doesn't require internet.

@gpzbc: thanks for the heads-up about the todoist extension! i've become a total convert.

VOTE: Todoist

Not a tip for greasy hair, but another use for baby powder: keeping away the sweat and funk if you're wearing shoes and no socks. Whenever I wear flats, I sprinkle powder inside them a few times throughout the day. Kind of amazing how well it works.

Shouldn't this capability be built into firefox?? This add-on is indispensable could use a few more features. It doesn't allow you to save PDFs that are in a frame (e.g. journal articles), or give you the option to open them using Preview or another app.

Really happy to learn about this, b/c the extension seems to have a bug on FF3 for Macs (OS X 10.4) when you scroll down. (Screenshot here: [gregoireandco.org]). I'm forced to open the pop-up window, which usually gets stuck on loading. So the bug makes the add-on pretty much unusable for me.

For Tiger users- Skim beat Apple to the punch. You can add/edit notes, highlight, mark it up (circling etc), crop. It's fast and lightweight too. I haven't opened Preview (which in Tiger frankly sucks) for about 6 months now.
