Considering the only “limit” to these “resources” is Square Enix’s hardware, I’d say artificial limits like this are foolish at best. Even FFXI had, at least, Mog Houses, so each player had their own little space to decorate, change jobs, and pull their hair out tending plants while praying in the direction of

“...the quest designer had to actually go through every single door in the game and add this tag. ‘This is a door that was closed before, and it should be closed again after.’”

Wait. Wait. You’re telling me each door object wasn’t already tagged with an ID and state? Why couldn’t they just generate a list that saves

I wouldn’t consider myself an anime “fan.” I like shows that are anime, but not because they are anime, if that makes any sense. So perhaps I’m coming at this from a different perspective. I don’t know.

I guess I don’t understand how anyone would want to watch “fan service” content. It’s bad storytelling at best,

The game got a lot of flack for its then-controversial take on combat, but it’s easily one of the best Final Fantasies. It’s my personal favorite, alongside VI and IX, so I’m biased.

At the time it was just such a breath of fresh air after years of Tetsuya Nomura’s Neon Laser Zipper Wonderland games. Like, I “like”

“The last time I played a Final Fantasy Star Wars campaign, it was Imperial Assault

Wait, I thought it was called Final Fantasy XII...

Now playing

Also, bless this game for giving us Dave Screed:

TSW is one of my all time personal favorite games. It’s clunky, but weirdly in all the right ways (if that makes any sense?). The story is fantastic, and its delivery, via superbly voice-acted and animated cut-scenes, should alone make TSW worthy of praise and recognition. Never has a game world made me long for

That’s a great line up, though I’m disappointed at the lack of Chrono Trigger.

All I know is that Saturday waits, and Sunday always comes to late, but Friday never hesitates.

Hey man, be sure to be careful running around with all those edges.

I’m sorry but Pauline is nowhere near THICC enough to be the mayor of a place called “New Donk City”

The air carries the musk of quasi-permanent-adolescence, myopia, neckbeard/katana-sharpening oil, an unearned sense of superiority, and the fear of the sexual awareness, with just a smattering of smug social awkwardness and a piquant of rosewood and the subconscious self-knowledge that one has when they realize

My favorite part was when he asked Comey about his investigation into President Comey’s investigation into Hillary’s Russian Email collusion with Vladimir Comey.

Holy shit that Wonder Boy art is amaze-balls.

The onus is on them because they are the gatekeepers of hardware/software. They own the means of production. The idea of, say, “letting players buy a [older console of choice]” falls flat, because these companies no longer manufacture these products, yet they’re the ones who, generally, still hold publishing rights

The fact that Chimpanzee isn’t #1 calls into question the entire verisimilitude of this so-called ranking.

Those fuckers deliberately and purposefully tear out your genitalia.

Fuck this guy. He’s paraded his penchant for being an asshole as “edginess” for a long time. There’s literally no excuse for him to use this terminology, aside from trying to make headlines.

I mean, shit, there’s basically no time it’s ever OK for a white person to use this language unless, like, they’re writing a

I wonder if it would survive if dropped while in the dock. The flat, thin design is going to create a lot of drag from air resistance, so it’s not going to hit as hard as it could (it’ll still hit pretty hard, of course). You can even see it catch and ride air as it makes its descent.

You had me at classic early ‘90s anime Sonic (a la Sonic CD opening cutscene), but I would have hoped for a slightly more updated look, rather than just a straight 16-bit Sonic 2 look (which, admittedly, is the best looking of the originals, imo).

Being a white kid who grew up in an all black neighborhood, and subsequently attended many a cookout, I can attest to all of this.

Even the names are accurate.
