I don't know man... I've read a lot of PKD in my day, and I've found a few of his novels to be pretty mediocre... maybe not 'bad' but pretty close.

I'm nervous to learn that Ubik is being turned into a film. It has so much potential, and I think Michael Gondrey is a great choice for director, but I really love that book and would love to see a great adaptation.
