@ShanaLD: A person's height has never been a real issue for actors and directors. For example, Alan Ladd was a shrimp, and directors would just have him stand on a box. With computers and what not, these days height would be even less of an issue.

"Open Source Hypocrisy"

I think we're making too big a deal out of this. It wasn't that long ago that I read a study in which Android phones used more data than iPhones, and it's not like Verizon is going to see a sudden deluge of customers overnight because of this. Many people are still locked into their AT&T contracts, and of those,

I always liked that X-Men in high school cartoon, so I'm guessing I would have liked this too. It's a shame it never made it to production.

I like the original. It's terrible and awesome. This remake will have better special effects and all, but in the end, it will just be another PG-13 action flick. Say what you want about Verhoeven, but his movies were definitely unique.

Starz absolutely botched Pillars of the Earth, and I never really got into their Spartacus (I tried).

Well... it's the perfect tablet for sailors.

I once had a roommate's girlfriend walk in on me and a friend watching Tetsuo the Iron Man, and she accused us of watching porn.

If the catalog of games is good with a promise of new PSP games available on the platform as they come out, and if the software emulation doesn't suck too much battery, and if I can get the phone on a good network, I'll buy one.

@taosaur: Reading Metabarons now. Really kick ass stuff.

Be still my beating heart. I haven't been this excited for a show since... well forever.

Ok, that sounds completely fascinating.

Game of Thrones is the first show or movie that I've been really excited for since Lord of the Rings. I really hope it's good enough and popular enough to get renewed for the duration of the books.

@Idaan: Clancy Brown is a god among men. It's a shame that he is so underused.

@daftrok: Ok, this is not common knowledge, because Sony has never confirmed it one way or the other. It is entirely possible that they're just presenting a controller and expecting Android game developers to port their games over to use it, and that Sony has no intent of porting over their own PSP games. Let's not

I really wish someone would just come out and let us know for sure whether or not this thing is going to play PSP and PSOne games. That's the one bit of information I'm waiting for in deciding whether or not to wait around for this phone.

@SBP1: Yeah, that's what I'm thinking too. I'm still willing to give this LG HSPA+ tablet on T-Mobile a look, but I'm having a tough time thinking that anything is going to top the XOOM in the near term, especially considering that it appears Google has worked so closely with Motorola on this. The ASUS converter

Oh dear....
