If Ian McKellen isn't included in the cast, it would be a serious blow for the film. What is PJ sitting around waiting for?

Hmm.. could be good for my little dog. She's never been afraid of Roomba, so she might be ok with something like this.

@Zuldim: Not like you. You're soft and smooth.

Everyone hates Jar Jar (including me), but isn't it true that he was a more interesting character than any of the other characters in the prequel trilogy?

@tenazrael: Are you kidding? I have been following Carly Fiorina for years, back when she was renowned as being one of the few major female CEOs. She turned out to be terrible. I remember when the HP board let her go... it certainly wasn't because she did such a great job.

So it's only a matter of time before I'll have my very own Lexx!

Ok, I'm going to dispute the Legend of the Seeker thing. The series is bad, but it's fun, and I've read the first four or five books (until Temple of the Wind, whichever that was), and I honestly feel the series improves upon generally mediocre books (with Wizard's First Rule being the absolute worst).

I think this Republican boom is going to be a short lived thing. Yeah, tomorrow will be a big day, but considering the overall direction of the country, social trends, along with the increasingly alienating tone of mainstream Republican rhetoric (especially for moderates like myself), we're going to see the pendulum

@ryernl: Yeah, the Paccino was the only impression I had to think about to get. Most of the others were great, with special kudos to the Alan Alda. That was pretty epic.

At the risk of upsetting a few of my fellow io9 readers, allow me a moment of release:

@akacrash: To me, the Tron publicity seems very smart, and I think keeping a few major surprises for the audience would be a smart move, especially for post-release in order to assist the whole word-of-mouth phenomenon. If they spill too many beans, people might not have quite as much to enthuse about around the

@akacrash: I'm guessing they'll be doing some age-defying Benjamin Button-style special effects for Boxleitner in the same way they're doing them for Bridges, so we might be surprised. I just bet that Disney is being especially cagey about releasing any actual TRON Tron footage.

Didn't they already make this movie?

I'm part of the problem. Even though the early episodes impressed me quite a bit, I barely bothered to watch it after that.

It temps me a bit... therefore it should live.

Live: I (think I) want it.

Looks like my next phone.

Season 3 sort of fizzled for me, and I'm not so sure if the whole witch theme is going to do much for me... but the promise of nudity gives me incentive to give it another shot.
