I think it was obvious that Rudy didn’t know precisely where it was, but how did he know Scott had it and not Cosima?

As of a few episodes ago, we have another new mystery: Why the %$@! is there a bathtub in the middle of Shay’s apartment?

When Cosima grabbed the book from Shay in the lab, Shay’s eyes followed the book as it was shoved into Scott’s backpack. I find it strange that she would keep her focus on the book rather than Cosima. In addition, how else could Rudy have known to zero in on Scott?
