The ticket taker?! If anyone should have known better, it would be the person admitting you into the theater.

On a related note, your anecdote reminded me of this NSFW (language on-screen & audio) bit recorded when Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince was released: http://pottercrash.ytmnd.com/ Does a 10-year old

When I was a kid I would have put Bow higher on the list because he had the little heart shaped window under his breast plate which turned red when you pushed a button on his back. Frosta would have been at the top, probably for no other reason than my favorite color was blue.

I’m not disagreeing that this was misdirection, I’m commiserating with Charlie since we both initially inferred that the scene took place in the tower.

Nah, I made the same assumption that you did. I’ll have to re-watch that scene, but when Theon came through the door I thought he looked surprised to see Ramsay.

No need to be snarky, especially since if you had read my earlier replies in this thread you would know that a) I’m not talking about my own phone, b) I know how to sync an iPhone and c) iCloud syncing is prohibited on many of the phones that I am talking about. For example, one of these companies requires its

You clearly haven’t read my other replies in this thread. I’m not talking about MY phone.

Nope, I meant to reply to you. You asked why storage space matters.

For some people, those options aren’t readily available/permitted. When assisting users with updates, I do it through a computer whenever possible because a) backups and b) memories linger of dealing with bricked BlackBerries thanks to OTA updates.

During the Rachel/Felix scene I remember thinking, “Way harsh, Tai.” I found it very uncomfortable.

I’m on the IT side. I can install pretty much whatever I want on my work computer. However, a large number of our clients do not allow their employees to install iTunes and it’s not uncommon for the IT Policies portion of employment contracts to specifically prohibit syncing devices with personal computers.

Sadly, many of the companies I work with only allow iOS updates to be installed over the air. It’s BS, but their IT departments will not install iTunes on the end-users’ computers.

The issue at hand isn’t the actual downloading of an update that large, it’s the amount of required free space to install iOS 8. People who have 16GB iPhones would have to sacrifice 25% of their overall storage space.

Dammit, Paul

I’m probably wrong about this, but can imagine that the symbols Rachel was painting were part of a “secret” language that Ethan taught her as a game when she was a kid; something they shared as part of a father-daughter bond.

If this highly giffable sequence is the entire reason for the Hendrixes’ storyline…

YES!!! This is wonderful news!

Welllll, a dead author would be super-goth...

As a Philly resident, this ordinance drives me bonkers. I have a little knife on my keyring (pictured below) which I use to open packages and it’s ridiculous to think that this little 1.5-inch folding blade is illegal. To paraphrase what some stranger on the internet once wrote about Philadelphia’s knife laws, it’s

Every word of your comment could have written by me. At some point (‘94 or ‘95?) I found out Poppy Z. Brite’s e-mail address and wrote to her and when she replied back I was on cloud nine. Still have that reply in a scrapbook somewhere...
