Yeah, that’s what I thought too. Of the dozens of times I’ve called CPS, this would be up there with a police officer just going to knock on their door and do a welfare check.

I honestly don’t believe any of them think they did anything wrong. They aren’t keeping some deep dark secret that they just have to get off their chest. They really think it’s fine to treat people like shit and if they die in the process, oh well.
