Done and done!

I just called a couple of my NY reps offices too! Had to find out who they were first (I don’t remember who I vote for), but they sounded pretty excited!

Fair enough. Back then I had the opposite reaction of seeing her beat people up. Was not expecting that from Dr. Chen.

You never watched ER, did you?

Seriously. I know everyone’s annoyed at Bran but he didn’t really do anything different from what he’s done before, it’s just he was flying solo. It’s like telling someone who’s never had a drink and/or driven a car not to drink and drive. More information, please! And let’s not forget this is all the Children’s

I literally share your pain.

I’m still wondering where they were for ‘08. What makes this primary “the one”?

Same. I’m so confused!

Good point. Well, I said I watched it, didn’t say I paid much attention to it!

That’s so true! I think I’ve only ever watched 2 Dr. Who episodes in my life, and one featured him and Martha Jones going back to Medieval Europe. She didn’t want to be there and he’s like, “Why?” She goes, “Hello? Black!” Then he points out a group of black women just walking by. I was like, “Yes!” Or on Da Vinci’s

It’s obvious why Bernie wants Brooklyn (hometown, large support there), but that’s just being a diva. “Not only do we want it in NY, but we get to pick where in NY”. It’s not like Flint, MI where a debate there would act as more of a vehicle to shine the light on current issues. Imagine the reaction if Hillary

I’m from Queens, so I do it for territorial reasons (ETA: and hipsters!). But I feel that when other people do, they’re only talking about the “popular” areas like Williamsburg, Park Slope, Fort Green, etc. No one’s thinking Ditmas Park, Brighton Beach, Windsor Terrace, Bay Ridge, Bed-Stuy. You know, Brooklyn.

I was thinking about that episode while reading this article! Also the Different World episode where the cafeteria guy (can’t remember his name), went off on the students for treating a student with AIDS like a pariah and basically said she was more at risk from them breathing germs on her than her sitting next to

Amen.

Yes, yes, and yes. Thank you! As a black person who well remembers the ‘90s, I remember honestly thinking that the 3 strikes law was a good thing and made sense when it came out. Nothing else seemed to be working. And I still can’t believe how little attention has been paid to Hillary’s “lip service” line, because

I think my cousin was just traded to that team. I have no comment on the actual story, I just thought it was interesting seeing them in an article.

Who said I was begrudging it? But all I saw on facebook were people dumping water on their head and passing it along, saying it was for ALS awareness and that was that. Most didn’t state donations or anything, and like I said, it already has a couple of famous sufferers. I know it’s not a thing in the public conscious

I’m very sorry about your father in law. The ice bucket challenge just seemed so gimmicky to me to raise awareness for a disease with at least one rather high profile sufferer who’s still living and in the public eye. Like my little brother and his friends did it, and I know they didn’t donate. Not to dismiss everyone

Exactly. The ice bucket challenge confused the heck out of me. Raise awareness for ALS? You mean the disease Stephen Hawkings and Lou Gehrig (as in Lou Gehrig’s Disease) has/had? Glad I’m aware of it now, thanks.

That would fine if they smelled like the Citrus Shores collection.
