Im in exactly the same boat. My GTI lease ends next summer, and since I don’t really want another mk7 and want something a bit sportier, this seems to tick all the boxes. Also, I already have a Miata.

People thought I was crazy for this exact cross shop, yet here we are. My GTI lease ends next July but I don’t think I can justify TWO Miatas.
