But it was a faux-sex scene between Keri Russell and Matthew Rhys!

It's an OK ending but I don't think they pushed it far enough. I think they got a bit too attached to Emma and Dylan. Isn't it more dramatic to have someone we know (other than Norma) get slaughtered by Norman? They fudged Caleb's death to get around it and make Norman more sympathetic. I get that season 5 is told…
The entire show was worth watching for Vera, and she elevated the whole thing. This was a decent ending (lazy Romero death and apparently unguarded Bates Model aside), but overall I think season 5 was still fairly weak. No where near enough payoff for Madeline, and the Loomis-in-the-shower thing worked but didn't…
Best Merlin ever.
Carter isn't the most subtle writer, but I take umbrage with the people who really bash him even back during the show's run. He did great work for the first 5-6 seasons. Anyone who wrote Duane Barry, Irresistible, Paper Clip, The Post-Modern Prometheus and How the Ghost Stole Christmas (just to name a few) is very…
Darin Morgan already did that, no? So a reboot of a reboot?

Founder's Mutation is OK and I kind of really like Home Again, even it it's two episodes squished into one. Moral of the story: Chris Carter has lost it, and he should step down.
Let Scully be blond! I am OK with it. Her wig in Season 10 was not flattering.
As a ridiculously massive fan of the show, I don't think I can do it either. Carter needs to step away. Make it a 10-episode monster-of-the-week anthology with Darin Morgan and Vince Gilligan returning and some NEW WRITERS then I'm interested.
I don't know if this should be your next, but Kill List is pretty great (and messed up). Read as little about it before hand as possible.
I think that's Dany and pretty much everyone else in Westeros come this season…
I'd say the opposite. There was subtlety in season 3 especially that's been lost since the end of season 4. Now it lurches from big moment to big moment.
The Nazis were also, I dunno, competent? Hitler was eventually delusional but he wasn't an idiot. He knew exactly what he was doing. Trump and his cronies just seem to be flailing around. They not so much evil as deliriously and dangerously incompetent.
Personally I kind of wish Norman went on a bit more a killing spree this year. I mean, he has to escape to kill Romero and Dylan right? I suppose Emma/baby is getting out of this alive. And they wussed out with Caleb's convenient death.
He really didn't have anywhere left to go. He's been the walking dead since last season really. Great character, though.
So is Marita Covarrubias a spy or not?
The Shield ending is one of the ages. Perfect in so many ways.
God the Teal/Orange colour grading is so overdone. It's so ugly!
1995 was a really strong year for Hollywood. Se7en, Heat, Apollo 13, Usual Suspects, Casino, Toy Story. Also Crimson Tide, which I have a soft spot for.
S3 and S4 were the best of the show. Go watch them!
