Practically every woman in power in GoT, except, you know, Dany, Sansa, Cersei, Marge, Olenna etc. etc.

A+ for remembering Tofutti dreamsicle. I would never have remembered that unpromted.
You're thinking of Jack Reacher.
Season 4 and 5 were significantly better than season 2 (post Q&A) and 3, but 3 more seasons seems like a stretch.
Does that make him better? The Nazis were terrible on behalf of a cause, too… Ideology arguably makes him even more dangerous.
According to Dormer, he was an uncooperative performer (a cat, uncooperative? go figure!), so I don't think he's reappearing anytime soon.
I thought she did a nice job with the Jorah scene last week. Not often she gets to play some vulnerability with Dany.
Why not just something fucking original?
Goddamn these electric sex pants!
As much as I love Keri Russell, I can see her slipping in to a fanatic-Liz type role quite easily.
She was approached to be the lead on Hunted, written by X-Files alum Frank Spotnitz, which was a spy thing that ended up starring Melissa George. Haven't seen it but I heard it was alright.
It's decent until the last act where it turns into a Michael Bay car chase. Bay aesthetic aside, the first hour is pretty solid (if derivative) sci-fi.
Love those shows. Especially Long Way Round.
It's borderline canon now anyway given the show has introduced Lyanna this year. There's really only one explanation for them doing that… Of course GRRM might change his mind as a f'you in the books, but that wouldn't really honour how it's been setup so far in the the text.
No Americans amongst that list for what it's worth. Two Aussies, a Kiwi, South African and English.
Liz also geniunely cares for Philip and the kids. Walter acted like he did but it was really all about himself.
You think the final season of BB was a redemption arc? Were we watching the same show? I mean, maybe the finale, yes (which I think was a slight misstep), but otherwise it's comeuppance for everything that's come before.
Beevor's books are so good. Readable and weirdly exciting. His WW2 history reads like a thriller.
He drew on it directly for Empire of the Sun, obviously. Doesn't change you point, but thought it might be worth stating.
It's possible they were waiting for the whole Jon resurrection thing before maybe doing LS. They kind of have licence to do LS now, but it's probably just as likely that badass revenge-Sansa might take her place.
