I liked the fight but you your point Brienne vs. shackled Jamie in season 3 was good stuff.

See Bride of Frankenstein for one of the best examples.

Kristen Bell *and* Mila Kunis? Where's Craig Ferguson when you need him…

She's at her best when she's speaking either Valerian or Dothraki.

Just wanted to say thanks for reminding me about that show. I loved it as a kid. Just like other geeky shows like Infinity Ltd, which was an Aussie science/math show.

Racist! And RIP MCD :(

The plastic armour would certainly present some culinary challenges. Hannibal's greatest test yet!

There's hardly any mainstream directors today with the same level of craft. In fact, I'm struggling to think of any at all.

I think the mild sarcastic understatement of Roswulf's post was lost on you a bit.

I think Gilligan learnt that lesson from The X-Files, which is why he ended Breaking Bad "early" or "exactly the right time". I imagine they (he and Gould) would be thinking along similar lines with BCS, now that it's a success and they can chart a rough endpoint.

Season 2 Millennium is one of the best things 1013 ever did. Up there with season 3/4 X-Files. I really wish we got a Morgan + Wong season 3. I've often wondered what thst would have looked like.

This is blatantly incorrect for at least the first 4 seasons. Nisei/731 (for two) are awesome.

See I thought season 9 and I Want to Believe already did that. I really thought this revival, as fiscally motivated as it may have been, was win win. At worst we'd lump it in season 9. As it is we got a new (great) Darin Morgan episode and two decent episides from M+W that at least felt like proper X-Files. That's

Darin Morgan talked about the lack of a writer's room on The X-Files Files. At least in season 3 basically it seems like they all had offices near each other and would bounce ideas off each other when necessary, run things by Chris and have the occassional big meeting. Obviously later on when you've got Gilligan,

Also: Bambi.

Ground Zero?

Exactly. I'm not going to defend Carter's work since about season 7 of the show, but anyone who think's he didn't do good work beore then is trippin (shrooms).

Just wanted to say, as an Australian, that Palmer is a buffoon who always says he's going to do stuff like this and then never does. It won't happen. This was announced a few years ago and was meant to be completed this year. Don't hold your breath.

Glen said in an interview he just did it to mess with the fans.

I think I prefer the Satan episode - 'Doomsday Defense' is just a litle bit too much all over the place. Talking about it though just makes me want to rewatch it the whole show. Been a while, and want to remind myself of the bonkers greatness of s2.
