IMO, renting a house is a waste of money. You're practically paying the same amount of a mortgage (at least where I live renting & owning is a very similar cost). So to me it makes no sense to throw money into something that you'll never get back. I recently bought my second home (sold the first for a good profit) ...

we have a protective cover for my son's mattress but one time we forgot it and he had an accident overnight. We cleaned the stain with some vinegar and a cloth then sprinkled a thick layer of baking soda over the stain and left it there for the entire day to soak up the smell. By the end of the day, the smell had

#1, I personally use Chrome and iTunes (which seems to be norm around here now)

#2, the fact that you're using the default "IE is garbage" argument that most uninformed people use because they don't know any better, proves that you're more a sheep than the people you seem to be criticizing. I'm a web developer and if

How is the desktop standing? If it's only a countertop, what holds it up? I don't see legs. Are there L bracks on the walls and side?

sorry the first part of your post was unclear.

No, he said 'Use' instead of 'utilize'. Read it again.

any major differences between CCControls, CCSettings and ccToggles? They all seem to do pretty much the same thing. Anyone have experience with them? I currently have ccToggles installed and see nothing wrong with it.

wish one of the carriers up here in Canada would jump on a similar idea instead of HIKING the damn prices as they recently did after changing to max 2yr contracts. They're all price fixing and it's so damn obvious.

I buy my lunches frequently and I can still stay under $700/mo. Maybe I don't go to a proper restaurant and eat lunch for $20/meal, but I don't eat at mcdonalds (which might I add is actually not that cheap)

haha I love the hotel thing.

Yes I actually do live in Canada. And somehow I can still survive on $650/mo for 4 people.

Yeah as I said, we spend $600-700/mo for 4 people and we still think that's high and have room to cut back a lot.

dude... $540/mo for ONE person!??! WE (my entire family of 4, 2 adults and 2 toddlers) spend $650-700/mo and we still eat very well.

for simple notes I really like Vesper for iOS. It's really sleek and well designed for what it does. Maybe not worth $5 for it's simplicity, but a lot of thought went into the design and UI of it.

I use Plex on my windows machine to allow my movies, tv shows, music and photos to be accessible anywhere. My smart TV's are able to read from the server, there's a Plex app for iOS and Android, and you can access an easy to use webpage where all your media is accessible on any remote computer.

because this one looks cool. lol

You beat me to it... and for those of you who don't know, Eraser basically erases things X times over which is supposed to be more secure. I guess if you're REALLY paranoid, you can combine the 2 methods: encrypt then use Eraser.
