Last time I checked, my F-TYPE wasn't a track car. I don't disagree with you about flappy paddles on a racetrack, but then again, you also know that a flappy paddle dual clutch transmission used for the track has a hell of a lot more in common with a regular manual transmission than an automatic.

The manual in the F-TYPE does not rev match for you... can I get un-greyed here?

Spoken like someone who can’t drive a stick. If you think that the only thing that a manual adds is "clutching with your left foot," then you really don't understand what a manual transmission adds in the ability to have more overall control over every aspect of driving the car.

I agree completely.

As the owner of a manual transmission F-TYPE S, I can say, with no bias whatsoever, that Doug is absolutely correct about this car, in every way...

Not true - in most states, dealers are required to destroy all previous plates on pre-owned cars.

now that's an excellent choice!

As far as I'm concerned, all Audis have basically had the same design since 2003.

Posted that just shortly before you did - of course, I appear to be permanently greyed out, in spite of commenting here for almost a year...
