HBO HD OnDemand via Xfinity TV used to have a half-dozen 3D titles at a time, basically whatever was new on HBO within the past year. I just checked and they don’t have them anymore.

I really hope they come back sooner. The movie studios aren’t about to stop making 3D movies, because everybody makes more money on 3D. The more content, the more demand — and I bet more people will pay a higher premium for a 3D disc than they will for a UHD disc. The difference between 2D and 3D is super-obvious and…
The Arrgghhhhs are just for show.
What does the car look like with the top stowed? What’s the cargo area like with the top stowed?
The recipe that works for me is to watch the theatrical teaser(s) and theatrical trailer(s), note who wrote and who’s directing, and avoid everything else.
Yes, Flash needs more villain-of-the-week. Multiverse-visitor-of-the-week has proven to be an inadequate substitute.
The Try Force has got nothing on the Secret Force.
You fast-forward whenever Mon-El is offscreen? So it takes you, what, 25 minutes to get through an episode?
It’s still fun. I watch to find out who the new secret-keeper is, and who’s the latest to say secret-keeping is bad. Sometimes it’s the same person! More than once it’s been in consecutive sentences!
It’s not consistently enforceable, but that’s fine. The asshats probably prefer it. What they want is for the Other to be afraid, so that they retreat from asshat view and asshat consciousness. A law that could at any time be used to harass you for failing to kowtow to their standards of public normalcy is just peachy.
I don’t want anything to discuss. I just want a full-body shiver, or at least for the hairs on the back of my neck to stand up.
Fans would be better served by the logo-only approach, because the biggest IMAX screen wouldn’t be sold out for the entire weekend before you could get your crew to figure out when you can get together and go see it.
That’s not the argument. Go back to the text:
Well, this teaser doesn’t have it easy. We already know who these characters are, we already know it’s going to be EPIC, and we were left with a cliffhanger. We’re waiting for specifics. But it’s too early for them to tell us anything, show us the most epic imagery, or give us the grandest fanfare.
What’s the first civilization you’re taught? Not the earliest, the one you’re taught first.
It’s announced at the beginning of every meeting.
We don’t yet know if Jupiter has a surface.
Well, intelligence isn’t on the list.
This gave me a new hope... and then crushed it as I browsed LG TVs and saw 3D was removed from the 7 series. Isn’t it weird that everyone has removed 3D capability? I can understand not pushing it as a feature, but if they already had the technology in-hand, why drop it? Sigh.
