It’s not converging fast enough.

Clearly that commission has failed to give the Admonistration* the advice it seeks.

You could tell her about wisdom:

Sigh. I said part of the reason. Don’t forget about boners.

If you blocked it you would affect performance. It’s a real part of the exhaust system.

Lifetime and Hallmark might offer him villain parts, but he’s unlikely to take them :)

It’s tempting to make the talent/skill argument. You know, shouldn’t we separate the art from the person making it, the work from the person doing it?

But he does like making gritty edgy movies about tough guys, and Suicide Squad: Drop a Deuce could certainly be that.

It’s not a fake exhaust if the exhaust flows through it.

Even if you didn’t get raises in the immediate wake of unionization that made easy and obvious justification, even though unions have feet of clay, counting on an employer to put employees’ needs above its own, through good times and bad, is risky. Unions can help workers and help workers help each other. Union dues

Some of the time, but fashion can be an addiction. There’s the ancient-goddess look, the pop-over-to-the-bar-for-a-drink look, and the I-wore-this-for-you-asshole-you-better-appreciate-it look.

The DNC has been getting shellacked. The top-down approach has gotten us into this mess. The DNC needs to figure out what it used to be — anti-monopoly, pro-labor, and pro-civil-rights, because it was fundamentally about decency and fairness to people — and figure out that those old planks address much of what

They get a pass when they make a joke at the racist’s expense. They get a pass when the racist is thought to be joking but turns out to be serious and (1) other characters express chagrin/admonishment at the fact that the racist is run amok and (2) the racist gets a comeuppance.

It’s a matter of principle. The asshole this asshole voted for is not a friend to the working class in WV or anywhere else. If the Democrats want to harness the new progressivism they need to stand up for it, cut this guy off, and back another candidate. One that supports a strong safety net, because they need it. One

Because it would have a chilling effect on the legislative branch. What is unconstitutional is not always so clear; if it was, Supreme Court cases would be trivial formalities. Lawmakers would be afraid to propose any legislation that a legal scholar more clever than they might craft an argument for
