What’s being told: “Do your job or you’ll never work in this business again?”

I don’t know. Gerrymandering is a nasty bitch, and more states than not have no direct-democracy recourse should their legislature gain an effective minority stranglehold. (Many would argue that several states are already devolved to this position. And it seems to me a GOP-tipped Supreme Court will be inclined to take…
Are all state Governors elected by a simple majority of the state’s voters at large? If not, they may not go blue. If so, we may see a lot more neutering of the state Executive branch.
The 1% are not always a united front. We may see rivalries form that result in one or more states moving to secede.
“We should avoid armed insurrection at all costs.” Even our democracy? Even our liberty?
I found this bit of the judgment interesting:
Were his initial complaints polite and understanding, or was he already mounted on his high horse?
While I feel no sympathy for Trump voters hoisted by their own petard, I think it’s important that when we encounter one of these folks we implore them to contact your Representatives and tell them you don’t want this to happen!
Crushing the spirits of the vanquished is no doubt a nice bonus, but I think this is more about tabulating the biggest number possible for the “cost” of liberal causes that, possible merits aside, do not reflect the will of the people or their priorities.
Is it still Unconstitutional in the eyes of a more conservative Supreme Court whose members believe life begins at conception?
I wonder if the fake rice was really smuggled in, not brought in legitimately as plastic and then shaped and bagged as rice.
Like government sources.
I can’t do it anymore. I read the synopsis above and the camel’s back broke. The show is running in circles maintaining the status quo. It’s serialized but it’s not going anywhere, and yet it’s so busy keeping the fantastical plot churning that the characters don’t get a chance to be people.
As much as I like serialization, and as much as I loved the territory Person of Interest did cover in its grander scheme, the show lost something when it became too much about saving itself. They tried to slip in a random number of the week here and there late in the game, but they’d raised the stakes so high that it…
The way Agents of SHIELD is plotted would work much better for a video game than it does for the show. At least it seems that way. As a TV show it has tested my patience one too many times.
On the strength of that synopsis, I have dropped Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. from my DVR show list.
Really? There was a censorship controversy for that show? I guess that’s why they didn’t do the usual catch-up marathon after three weeks.
No, the content of each Chobanihater_117 post is much more elaborate in its description of how and why. It’s like porn — you’re not watching just to find out the ending.
I don’t know about other manufacturers, but my circa-2008 Cadillac nav gets an update disk published about once a year. Not a lot of road changes happen in any one area in a year. Not even a lot of places-of-interest changes in a year. Not even in two years. And for most of us an address that doesn’t exist or a Dairy…
Don’t say I didn’t warn you :)
